Systems Accountant

Finance Systems Accountant – 9-Month Contract | Immediate Start

We’re partnering with an ASX-listed organisation going through a finance systems and controls uplift and are looking for a hands-on Finance Systems Accountant to support the next phase.

This is an initial 9-month contract, starting ASAP, with a strong chance of going permanent for the right person.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the uplift of internal controls across finance systems

• Working closely with Finance, IT and business teams to help design practical, auditable processes

• Improving system workflows, documentation and controls

• Helping identify control gaps and supporting remediation activities

• Assisting with ERP optimisation, system issues and end-user support

What we’re looking for:

• Around 4–7 years’ experience in Finance, Accounting or Finance Systems

• Exposure to internal controls or SOX in a systems or reporting environment

• ERP experience (NetSuite helpful but not essential)

• Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to work across Finance and Technology
